The majority of my career has been spent working for various design and build structural steel fabrication companies on a wide variety of projects. These projects range from small simple structures to high rise office/commercial buildings in the center of London to Power Stations where we have been installing new structures within a live working environment.
As part of my initial training, with my first company, I spent several months in each department including fabrication and site. This initial training has been the backbone of my career allowing me to sympathise with the difficulties of fabrication and site installation thus providing structural solutions that are not only cost effective and functional but fabrication and construction friendly. This experience has allowed me to become a proactive engineer who is forward thinking, considering the whole project to enable me to resolve issues which influence the overall project and ensure the seamless transition from one trade to the other.
